Man Recives 50,000 Bolivares From His “Ninong” And Was Shocked After He Converted It In Philippine Peso

Christmas and the holidays are the seasons of giving. It’s a time when people are more kind and open-hearted.

Everyone wants to make sure their family, friends, and loved ones get exactly what they want.

But during the holiday season, it is easy to forget the true meaning of Christmas. As cliché as this may sound I find it to be very truthful. There seems to be a lot of pressure put on regular every day, to celebrate, share the goodwill and get that perfect gift for that special someone in your life.

Some people are less fortunate than others and may not be able to get Christmas gifts this holiday season.

But this viral story on Facebook is different.

A Godchild (Inaanak) received foreign money from his godfather (Ninong) as a Christmas gift this holiday season, but he was shocked after he found the true value of the money.

Recently on Facebook, George Ivan Domingo was so happy that his godfather gave him foreign money. A red envelope contained 50,000 Venezuelan Bolivares that have been given to him.

But when George converted it to Philippine pesos, it cost only 53 pesos. His supposed ‘wealth’ will not be granted.

“Binigyan ako ni ninong kong seaman ng pamasako. Akala ko ikayayaman ko na eh.” He said to his caption.

His photos have gone viral on social media after he posted them. It earned various and hilarious reactions from the netizens.

Here are some:

“Pang GOSURF50 na po yan. 😂”

“Tipid tips din si Ninong e”

“The same thing happened to me and my father. He gave me 20000 of Vietnam money and I converted it to Philippine peso which turned out to be just P43. 😅👏🏼”

It is really a shocking story though.

What can you say about this?
