Ethel Booba Welcomed Her Firstborn “Little Booba” On Valentines Day

Having a child is truly the best gift ever.

It makes you whole as a woman.

Having children is the greatest thing that can happen to you as a husband and wife.

They will make you see the world in a completely different way. They will put your past life into perspective.

They are infuriating at times when they’re little, but on the whole, they’re such a joy.

This may be how comedienne Ethel Booba felt when she successfully gave birth at the age of 43.

Ethel took to social media to share the good news.

She shared a faceless photo of the newborn on Twitter on February 14, jokingly calling her baby “Little Booba” as she welcomed the child into the world.

“Welcome to this world Little Booba. Charot!” she said on her Twitter account.

The comedienne also shared a video of her while preparing for delivery.

In an earlier post on Instagram, she had mentioned that the baby’s name would be Michaela.

The child’s father is a non-showbiz guy named Jessie Salazar, who Ethel has been in a relationship with since 2017.

The comedian first publicly revealed that she was expecting when she was 6 months into her pregnancy, on an episode of It’s Showtime in November.

“Ano ba ‘yan, naiiyak ako. I’m happy for the gift of life. Double celebration. Double congratulations to me,” Ethel said in an interview last year shortly after she won ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’.

“Oo siyempre ito na nga. Six months. Kaya nahihirapan akong kumanta, parang lalabas ang bahay-bata ko…

“Pasensiya na, hindi ako makabuga, ang sakit talaga ng puson ko,”
she added.

Ethel also admitted that she did not expect to get pregnant at the age of 42.

Perhaps, having children truly ends adolescence.

Congratulations Ethel!

Welcome to the world “Little Booba”!
