Vhong Navarro Explains Why He And Vice Ganda Didn’t Pursue To Make Movie Together

Vhong Navarro finally explained the reason why he and Vice Ganda didn’t push through to make a movie together.

This was asked and explained by the actor during the digital press conference of Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2020.

Among all the movie entries for this year, Vhong’s movie Mang Kepweng: The Secret of The Black Bandana was one of the lists.

Last Tuesday, December 8, Vhong had an interview and explained the reason why he and Vice didn’t had a movie together.

To recall, Vice and It’s Showtime co-host Anne Curtis already had movie together last MMFF 2019 titled The Mall The Merrier.

Vhong had no idea what the plans of the comedian are but he is thinking of a reason why their tandem didn’t pushed through.

“Ang hirap sa kanyang gumawa ng pelikula na co-host niya rin sa It’s Showtime kasi, di ba, palaging napapanood araw-araw?”

He further explained,

“Sa It’s Showtime kasi, lahat ginagawa namin ni Vice.

“With Anne, meron silang hindi pa nagagawa sa It’s Showtime na pwede nilang gawin sa movie.”

“Unlike us, lahat, e. Kumbaga, bigay-todo kami ni Vice sa Showtime,” Vhong said.

“Hindi ko kasi alam, baka natatakot siya or natatakot din ang producer na gumawa kami pareho [ng pelikula],” he added.

For Vhong, they’re scared to risk a movie together as no one might be paying to see their film as they looks like having a tandem during It’s Showtime.

Meanwhile, his movie Mang Kepweng is just one of the lucky movies that made it to the lists of MMFF this year.
